Everglades Python Hunters: Your Chance to Wage War on Invasive Snakes
The South Florida Water Management District is expanding its python hunting program due to the invasive species’ detrimental impact on the Everglades ecosystem. They are hiring 25 people to track and remove Burmese pythons from district-owned land in Miami-Dade County, extending the hunt into September and expanding the area to include Broward and Collier counties.
