Second Act Learning: Free College for Seniors in Every State
Many colleges and universities offer reduced or free college courses for senior citizens (typically 60 and up) to encourage continuing education. The availability and specifics of these programs vary significantly by state, ranging from tuition waivers and reduced rates to auditing courses or taking a limited number of credits. While some programs may not offer credit or online options, many do. Additionally, Osher Lifelong Learning Institutes (OLLI) provide non-degree enrichment courses for older adults on college campuses.
