Social Security Fairness Act: Millions to See Benefit Boost
The Social Security Fairness Act, recently signed into law, addresses reductions in Social Security benefits for individuals who worked in both public and private sectors and receive pensions from public jobs. Previously, the Windfall Elimination Provision (WEP) and Government Pension Offset (GPO) reduced benefits for these individuals.
